Gorilla Monsoon & “Superstar” Billy Graham on commentary

 

1)      The Fabulous Rougeaus (Jacques & Raymond) vs The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & The Dynamite Kid) w/Matilda

 

The match ended in a 20-minute Time Limit Draw, just as Smith used a Military Press to send Dynamite flying with a Headbutt to Jacques.

 

Gorilla Monsoon announces Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake would be unable to compete tonight, before showing footage of “Rugged” Ron Bass attacking Beefcake on Superstars.

 

2)      Bad News Brown vs Ken Patera

 

Winner: Brown after avoiding Patera into corner, Ken smashes his shoulder into the ring post, Brown followed with The Ghetto Blaster and the pin.

 

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan & “Macho Man” Randy Savage), with Miss Elizabeth, hyping their main event tag match against The Mega Bucks (Andre The Giant & “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase).

 

3)      “Ravishing” Rick Rude w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs The Junkyard Dog

 

Winner by Disqualification: Rude after Rude stood on the top turnbuckle and pulled down his tights, showing Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ wife’s face on the crotch and butt! Rude dove off with a Fist Drop to JYD and started shaking his hips, until Jake Roberts ran out, slid in the ring and attacked Rude, knocking him out of the ring.

 

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews WWE Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man, with “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart, hyping his mystery challenger for the Title, Tonk would not allow Okerlund to tell him who the opponent it.

 

4)      The Bolsheviks (Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff) w/Slick vs The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & Warlord) w/The Baron

 

Winners: Powers of Pain after Warlord planted Boris with a Powerslam, Barbarian flew off the top with a Diving Headbutt and covered for the 3.

 

Brother Love comes out and cuts a promo, bringing out “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan for a “little love.” They hype Duggan’s feud with Dino Bravo. Love pushes his luck with Duggan and is chased off.

 

5)      WWE Intercontinental Championship match: The Honky Tonk Man© w/”The Colonel” Jimmy Hart vs The Ultimate Warrior

 

Winner and NEW Champion: Warrior immediately overwhelms Honky and puts him away with a Shoulder Tackle and Splash sequence.

 

6)      “The Rock” Don Muraco vs “Canada’s Strongest Man” Dino Bravo w/Frenchie Martin

 

Winner: Bravo after Muraco lifted Dino and Referee Tim White was knocked back, Bravo escaped Don’s grasp and used a Side Slam to put Rock down for the 3.

 

Sean Mooney interviews Jesse “The Body” Ventura, talking about Ventura being the Enforcer for the main event and accepting money from “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.

 

7)      WWE Tag Team Championship match: Demolition (Ax & Smash)© w/”The Colonel” Jimmy Hart & Mr. Fuji vs The Hart Foundation (Bret “The Hitman” Hart & Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart)

 

Winners and STILL Champions: Demolition after the Referee was distracted by Neidhart fighting with Fuji, Hart handed the Megaphone to AX, who blasted Bret with a shot to the back of the head, allowing Smash to cover for the 3.

 

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is in the dressing room of an IRATE Honky Tonk Man, who is complaining about losing his Intercontinental Championship to The Ultimate Warrior.

 

8)      The Big Bossman w/Slick vs “The Birdman” Koko B. Ware

 

Winner: Bossman after Koko fired up and charged at Bossman, jumping onto the big man, Bossman dumped Koko over the top and to the apron, before pulling him into the ring, sending Ware into the ropes and using The Bossman Slam to get the 3.

Bossman uses his Night Stick to knock Ware out of the ring.

 

Sean Mooney is in the dressing room with NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior and a group of babyfaces, as Warrior cuts a crazy promo on his Title win.

 

9)      Hercules vs Jake “The Snake” Roberts

 

Winner: Roberts after Hercules nailed Jake with a punch and lifted for a Body Slam, Jake escaped over the back and caught Hercules with a DDT, crawling into the cover for the 3.

Roberts pulled his snake out and covered Hercules with it.

 

10)   The Mega Powers (WWE Champion “The Macho Man” Randy Savage & Hulk Hogan) w/Miss Elizabeth vs The Mega Bucks (Andre The Giant & “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan & Virgil

 

Jesse “The Body” Ventura served as the Special Guest Referee.

 

Winners: Powers after Andre knocked Hogan out of the ring, where Savage was laid out on the mats, Ventura started making the count, only for Elizabeth to get on the apron! Elizabeth stopped Ventura by taking off her skirt and parading around, distracting everyone and allowing The Powers to recover. Hogan slid into the ring, as Savage climbed to the top and dove off with a Double Axe Handle to the back of Andre and Hogan nailed DiBiase. After Andre was knocked to the floor, Hogan positioned DiBiase with a Body Slam, as Savage climbed to the top and flew off with an Elbow Drop, followed by The Leg Drop and pin by Hogan.

Pre-Show:
1-      WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz & The Miztourage (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel) w/Maryse vs Jason Jordan & The Hardy Boyz (Jeff & Matt)
Winners: Miz & Miztourage after Jordan tossed Axel with a Belly to Belly Suplex and followed with a Running Spear in the corner, but Miz got a blind-tag on Curts and while Jason was looking to put Curtis away, Miz snuck up and used The Skull Crushing Finale to get the 3.

2-      WWE Cruiserweight Championship match: Akira Tozawa© w/Titus O’Neil vs Neville
Winner and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Neville after lifting Tozawa to the top and following up, looking for a Superplex, but Tozawa fought him off and use a Front Suplex to drop Neville to the mat. Tozawa took the time to perch up and leap off with The Senton, but Neville got his knees up, into Tozawa’s back! Neville made his way to the top and while Tozawa laid face-first on the mat, Neville connected with The Red Arrow, turned Tozawa over and reclaimed his crown!

Elias Sampson gives a wonderful performance.
3-      WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship match: The New Day (Big E. & Xavier Woods)© w/Kofi Kingston vs The Usos (Jimmy & Jey)
Winners and NEW Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Usos (4th Reign) after Big E. Speared Jimmy, off the apron and to the floor and fired up, amidst the 4 other bodies on the floor. E. rolled Jimmy into the ring and looked for The Big Ending, but Jey tagged in and pulled his brother down, but Big E. pulled Jey up for The Big Ending, only for it to be broken up by a Superkick to the gut by Jimmy. The Usos took turns Superkicking Big E’s face and sandwiched him with basement Superkicks, before going to opposite corners and connecting with Double Uce (Stereo Flying Splashes) to get their Title Victory!

Main-Show:
1)      John Cena vs Baron Corbin
Tom Phillips, JBL & Byron Saxton on commentary for the Smackdown side.
 Winner: Cena after dodging a charging Baron, who slid out of the ring, ran around the post and slid back in, but Cena crushed him with a Lariat for his troubles! Cena waited for Corbin to get up, before pulling him in and hitting The Attitude Adjustment and covering for the 3.

2)      WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship match: Naomi© vs Natalya
Ms. Money In The Bank, Carmella, and James Ellsworth are shown watching the match on the monitor.
 Winner and NEW Smackdown Women’s Champion: Natalya after Natalya countered out of Naomi’s grasp and into The Sharpshooter, battling for control and dragging Naomi to the middle of the ring. But, Naomi would not stop fighting and crawled back to the corner, before using her leg strength to launch Natalya into the turnbuckles. Naomi took the opportunity to attempt a Split-Legged Moonsault, but Natalya moved out of the way and quickly re-applied The Sharpshooter, forcing Naomi to Tap Out!

3)      With Enzo Amore suspended, above the ring, in a Shark Cage: The Big Show vs Big Cass
Show had his right hand wrapped heavily and protected it during the match.
 Michael Cole, Booker T & Corey Graves on commentary for the Raw brand
 After Enzo pulled a bottle of soap from a thigh wrap and squeezed himself through the bars on the cage, just as Cass looked up. They made eye contact, Amore maneuvered around the cage and dropped off the backside, only for Cass to smoke him with a Big Boot! Cass then waited for Show to get up and cracked him with a Big Boot and covered, but Show kicked out at 2. Cass got some distance and when Show got back to his feet, Cass blasted him with another Big Boot and covered for 3.

Raw General Manger Kurt Angle is talking on the phone, when Smackdown General Manger Daniel Bryan walks in and they have a friendly, competitive talk about which brand would have better matches. YES! NO! YES! NO!

4)      “The Viper” Randy Orton vs “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev
Rusev attacks during Orton’s entrance. Rusev viciously beat down Orton and put him back into the ring, calling for the match to be started, but the Referee held him back to check on the beaten Viper.
 Winner: Orton after the Referee called for the bell, as Orton suckered Rusev in, causing him to crash into the corner and snapped off The RKO for the 3!

Sasha Banks is walking through the back, she walks up on Bayley, who hugs her and wishes her luck.

5)      WWE Raw Women’s Championship match: Alexa Bliss© vs “The Boss” Sasha Banks
Winner and NEW Raw Women’s Champion(4th Reign): Banks after Bliss connected with Twisted Bliss and held on, but Banks was able to stay alive. Bliss argued with the Referee and looked to follow up, only for Sasha to Arm Whip her down and transition into The Bank Statement, pulling in agony due to her injured left shoulder, Bliss broke the hold by slamming Bank’s left hand into the mat and rolling her up, Banks kicked out at 2 and immediately transitioned back into The Bank Statement, pulling her wrist wrap around Bliss’ face for leverage, forcing Bliss to Tap Out!

6)      “The Demon” Finn Balor vs “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt
Winner: Balor after Wyatt had Balor down, went to the corner and bridged back into a crab walk, but Balor rose up, confusing Wyatt. Bray hit the ropes, only for Balor to take him down with Slingblade and then hit a Front Dropkick, sending Bray crashing into the corner. Finn went to the top and scored with Coup de Gras to put Bray away!

7)      WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match: The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus)© vs Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins
Winners and NEW Raw Tag Team Champions: Ambrose & Rollins after Sheamus had Ambrose set up for White Noise, as Cesaro positioned on the top, but Rollins stopped all of that by using an INCREDIBLE Springboard Frankensteiner, sending Cesaro crashing into Sheamus! Rollins blasted Cesaro with a Basement Superkick, blasted Sheamus with a kick and then a Rip Cord Knee Strike, which allowed Ambrose to score with Dirty Deeds and get the 3. (AWESOME FINISH)

8)      WWE United States Championship Special Guest Referee match: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles© vs “The New Face of America” Kevin Owens
Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon served as Special Guest Referee.
 After AJ went for a Crucifix, but they botched it and rolled into a School Boy, before popping Owens up and driving him down with The Styles Clash, holding on but Owens kicked out at 2! Styles went to the apron for The Phenomenal Forearm, but when he launched out, Owens ducked underneath and then drove Styles to the mat with a Pop Up Powerbomb! Owens covered and Shane counted the 3, but AJ’s foot was on the ropes and he rescinded his call, while Owens celebrated. KO got angry and in the face of Shane, eventually shoving each other, until Shane pushed KO into a School Boy by AJ, for a 2. They popped up and AJ blasted KO with a Pele Kick, giving him time to go to the apron and score with The Phenomenal Forearm, but he was not done, and planted KO with a final Styles Clash for the 3!

9)      WWE Championship match: Jinder Mahal© w/The Singh Brothers vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Mahal after Nakamura dodged Mahal as he charged in, causing Jinder to crash into the ring post. Nakamura took a little time to recover before charging across with a vicious Knee Strike to the back of Mahal’s head! Nakamura started to feel it and positioned for the end, but The Singh Brothers got on the apron, leading to Nakamura bringing them into the ring and destroying them, but Mahal took the advantage and planted Nakamura with The Colossus for the 3. (WEAK FINISH)

10)   WWE Universal Championship Fatal Four Way match: Brock Lesnar© w/Paul Heyman vs Braun Strowman vs Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns
Brock was carted to the back after Braun put him through 2 announce tables with Running Powerslams and then turned over a 3rd announce table, smashing Brock underneath! Brock ended up coming back to the ring, against Referees and Doctors orders!

Winner and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar after Joe locked Brock in The Coquina Clutch, only for Lesnar to overpower and toss Joe with The F5, covering, but Reigns dove in to break it up at 2. Roman and Brock staggered to their feet, where Reigns connected with 3 straight Superman Punches and then called for The Spear, but as he charged out, Brock scooped him up and scored with The F5 to put an end to this epic collision!
